Why join Meddy

Do something that matters, on your own terms

You set your schedule

Job offers come to you. Accept what fits, pass on what doesn't. No minimum commitment, no fixed quota. You decide how much you take on.

Meddy handles the admin

Meddy manages the booking, scheduling, and payment collection. Your role is to show up, care for the patient, and keep the family in the loop. The logistics are on us.

Purposeful, people-first work

Every assignment makes a real difference. For many patients, you'll be the steadying presence that gets them through a difficult day. That kind of care is personal, and it matters.

Your assignment, clearly laid out

Job offers, patient details, check-in tools, and your assignment history, all in the Meddy companion portal. Everything you need before and during an assignment, in one place.

Put your skills to use

Healthcare experience and language skills are at the heart of what makes a great Meddy companion. If you have them, you already have what it takes.

Part of a trusted network

You're joining a trusted community of companion professionals across Singapore, not a generic gig platform. A steady pipeline of meaningful assignments, backed by a Meddy ops team that's there when you need them.

Who we are looking for

The right fit for Meddy

Healthcare experience or training

Current or former nurses, healthcare assistants, professional caregivers, medical social workers, eldercare workers, or anyone with patient-facing work experience in healthcare. Formal healthcare training from an accredited institution (e.g. HMI Institute) is equally welcome.

Multilingual is a strong plus

Many of our patients are more comfortable in Mandarin, Malay, Tamil, or a Chinese dialect. Companions who can bridge language gaps are highly valued.

Patient, calm, and dependable

Medical appointments can be slow and stressful for patients and families. We need companions who are steady under pressure, punctual, and genuinely comfortable spending time with elderly or unwell patients.

Singapore Citizen or PR

Your local knowledge and language are exactly what families are looking for - someone who knows our hospitals and can speak with patients the local way. We currently onboard Singapore Citizens and PRs only.

How it works

From application to your first assignment

Joining is simple. The work is anything but ordinary.

01

Submit your application

Fill in the application form and upload your documents. Takes about 15 minutes. Tell us about your background, experience, and the languages you speak.

02

Interview

Our team reviews your application and documents. If you're a good fit, we'll reach out via WhatsApp to arrange a short interview.

03

Onboarding

Confirmed companions sign the Companion Partner Agreement, complete our self-paced role training, and pass a short assessment. Once you pass, we'll set up the accounts you need, and you're ready for your first assignment.
